How Can I Get My Necklace Out Of The Drain?

So I’ve now become a statistic… I was washing my face this morning and accidentally dropped my necklace down the sink. I pulled out the plug and there was my necklace dangling from a hook in the middle of the drain. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can safely get the necklace out without it going down any further? I’d like to refrain from taking the pipes apart. Thanks!

    YOU CAN DO IT!!!
just unscrew the trap, its only hand tight, turn the nuts anti-clockwise(both of them) and remove u bend, just in case fit the plug in the sink, you could also place a bowl or old towel under as some water is inside, clean out before you fit it back, when you tighten nuts back, first turn wrong way until nut fits into place,so you dont cross thread the nut.good job done!!!
    GO ON,GO FOR IT!!

Safe way to retrieve it is to disassemble the trap, not a big deal.
