Luminox EVO F-16 Fighting Falcon

The fabulous range of Luminox watches is now part of our range!  Luminox is the brand of watch worn by the US Navy Seals, military groups, law enforcement and serious sports men.

Each watch in the Luminox range has an inbuilt luminous technology called LLT (Luminox Light Technology). LLT allows the hands of the watch to glow continuously meaning that the dial is visible in the darkest of nights.

Initially the founder of Luminox, Barry Cohen, began to make watches using the LLT technology which he discovered being developed by a Swiss company. His range of watches came under scrutiny from a procurement officer from the Navy Seals. The officer, needing to find a low light, no light solution for night missions contacted Luminox with the end result of Luminox manufacturing a dive watch using LLT to the Navy Seals rigorous specifications.

This first watch was a dive watch and in 1994 was offered to the US Navy Seals dive teams as their preferred watch. Luminox also began selling the original Navy Seals dive watch to the consumer market as the watch has a capability of being submerged up to 200 metres.

This began a trend of new models of the Luminox watch with a variety of watch face colours and styles. The range has continued to grow to a wide variety of different watches, both for the Seals and other military arms. The range now includes watches for Black Ops,  Field Ops,  The Luminox EVO Series, The Navy Seal Series , The Luminox SR-17 Blackbird Series for aviators as well as Luminox Travel Alarms
